All bikes at all events must fit within the regulations outlined in the MoMs and Supplementary Regulations.
No road racing bikes are permitted.
With regards to age requirements:
A person's age on the 1st of January will determine their age for competition purposes for that calendar year. Riders can move into the nest higher age group when they become eligible by reason of celebrating a birthday. Once moved, they cannot move back. See Section 14 of Section 14 of MA lisence Conditions & Endorsements
The classic and popular Supermoto class is where you'll find big bikes and epic racing! Most commonly 250cc and 450cc bikes, but variations are still seen and encouraged!
Bikes:
500cc 2-stroke or 700cc 4-stroke
At Club and State Championship events we mst often run 'Open' class rules as per MoMs
At National events may run Open and Pro classes which have different bike restrictions. See Manual of Motorsports (MoMs).
Most commonly 250cc and 450cc bikes

Converted MX bikes: KTM SXF's, Yamaha YZ's, Honda CRF's,
Converted enduro bikes: KTM EXC's, Yamaha WR's

Must have 12" wheels.

Bike choice is highly dependent on the individual and their skill level. There are commonly 85cc 2-strokes of various manufacturers, 4-stroke such as the Honda CRF150R or the DHZ 155 (ready to ride supermoto only around $3k new!).
*Junior riders can, 6 months prior to their birthday, commence coaching/practice/non-competitive track nights/days on a machine of the increased capacity that they will be competing on when reaching the required age.
Bikes:
Supermoto machines up to 85cc 2-stroke, 160cc 4-stroke.
Any wheel size permitted.

Suited for the little ones just starting out!
J1 is a SupermotoWA exclusive, non-competitive class designed to help kids build their skills in a safe and welcoming family environment.
**Junior riders can, 6 months prior to their birthday, commence coaching/practice/non-competitive track nights/days on a machine of the increased capacity that they will be competing on when reaching the required age.
Parents are able to see the entire track from the pits and there are plenty of coaching opportunities available and family discounts for kids and parents!
Bikes:
Eligible machines are road/supermoto prepped machines, up to 65cc 2 stroke, & 125cc 4 stroke (small wheel bikes only).

7 to 12yrs
Track Layout
Tarmac only.
Dirt section allowed as targeted coaching depending on the level of the rider(s) and the discretion of the CoC allowing for assessment of conditions.
Pace
New and Intermediate riders
One of the best classes to participate in, and a spectacle to watch.
Do not under estimate this class, there is some close racing!

CT90, CT110 and NBC110 postie bikes.
